LifeWay, I am proud to introduce to Edwin and Danielle Michaels and their children. Edwin Michaels is coming to join us as our newly appointed Youth and Children’s Pastor. Welcome, Michaels family!
Long before Kevin and Rachel left LifeWay for their service overseas, we began a search for someone to serve in this important role with us. In fact, Kevin and Rachel were originally here to serve only two years, but due to COVID-19 craziness, they were pushed to three years. We are so grateful to God that he gave them to us for an extra year. But I say this to make you aware that we have been looking for God’s person to fill this role for quite a long time!
I first met Edwin seven months ago, and after months of meetings, conversations, and lots of prayer, I am proud to invite him to join us in service. Sunday, February 6, will be the Michaels family’s first Sunday with us in person. Below is a little insight into their lives.

The Michaels Children
- Ryatt (12) loves video games.
- Jaxton (9) loves anything on wheels.
- Justin (9) loves animals.
- Blaine (8) loves creating (e.g. Legos, Minecraft, etc.).
- Landyn (5) loves Paw Patrol.
Favorite family activities include:
- Movie nights
- Board games
- Skim-boarding and clamming at Dash Point State Park
- Jujitsu
- Disneyland trips
