This Week In KidVenture
I hope you all had a great Holy Week and Easter weekend! I love spending time remembering the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us. If Jesus hadn’t gone to the cross, we could never go to Heaven! This week, we will spend a little more time looking at pieces of the Easter Story in Matthew 26-28 that show us that Jesus really is the savior who took the punishment for our sins.

On Sunday Ms. Heather reminded us that many of our global workers are still working hard to share Jesus’ love and and sacrifice with people who don’t know about him yet. This week for our prayer reminders, we will remember to pray for global workers, and for people we know who need to know about Jesus.

Resources
None of us have ever experienced anything quite like the COVID-19 pandemic. While some things we are experiencing are really hard, some are also really cool. (For example, I love going to church in my pajamas!) So to help you remember what we are doing, feeling, and learning during this time, you can create a COVID-19 Time Capsule. Here are some pages you can fill out to include in your time capsule, and suggestions of a few things to include. Some of the pages are great for each person to fill out, and some are good to fill out together as a family.
[Parents: This is not specifically a “Christian” time capsule, but there are places for “What I’m Thankful For” and letters for kids and families to write to your future selves that are great opportunities to help us all remember how we see Jesus at work in our lives right now.]
