God’s Wisdom for My Wealth
Part 8 of the series, Proverbs: Merging God’s Wisdom with Real Life
The greatest battle of wealth is: do you see it properly for what it is—and what it is not? What it can do and what it absolutely cannot do? It is not a crime to have nothing in the bank. It is also not a crime to have a whole lot in the bank. What it is a crime, spiritually, to do is to say, “God, it’s all mine, and I will only do something [with it] when I get to a certain point in my life.” No, you and I are only managers of whatever wealth—whatever level it is—that God has allowed us to have. And so the battle of wealth is the battle of the soul.
