    GIC Guests

    Mike Coggins
Mike Coggins is an urban missionary in the city of Seattle and the chaplain of Street Youth Ministries. Mike left home at the age of 15 and spent many years fighting his own battle with homelessness and heroin addiction. He had a radical encounter with God through the message of Jesus Christ and was delivered from a 12-year heroin addiction. This encounter filled him with gratitude and compassion for people on the margins of society and drove him back to the same streets he used to live on to bring the message of Jesus to those suffering.

    Pete and Emily Johnson
Pete and Emily serve with The Evangelical Alliance Mission as directors at Rancho El Camino in La Paz, Mexico. Based at the Ranch since 2012, they lead a variety of ministries that fall under four categories: traditional church planting in an under-resourced community, community development initiatives, leadership development, and traditional camps and retreats. Additionally, Pete serves organizationally as the Regional Director for Mexico and Guatemala, while Emily serves as the Regional Executive Director for the Americas. They have four kids: Ali, Kylah, Ava, and Rowan.

    M.K.
M.K. serves with The Timothy Initiative, a ministry working toward disciples making disciples, churches planting churches, and leaders developing leaders until there is a church in every village everywhere. He has served as the Project Coordinator for Indonesia and the Country Coach for the Malaysia team, while currently transitioning to TTI’s Content Team. As a Bible college student in Australia, M.K. joined a Perspectives class and was mentored by a missionary who had worked in the Middle East and South Asia. Upon graduation, he served the urban poor with OMF in the slum area of West Jakarta. He lives in Jakarta, Indonesia with his wife and 2 children.

    Trey and Denise Shaw
Trey and Denise have lived and served in Budapest, Hungary for more than 20 years with the International Mission Board. They currently serve as cluster leaders and trainers for the Carpathian region (Hungary, Slovakia, and Czechia), and have planted two churches in their time there. They share three young adult children, Bryan, Alexander, and Lily, who are now starting their adult lives in the US.

Tim and Tina Louderback – GIC Alumni
Tim and Tina currently serve with the International Mission Board in Panama City, Panama. They have lived and worked there for 15 years, including raising 4 kids who call Panama home. In Panama, they receive short term mission teams through a program called Go Experience and connect them to ongoing national work. Through pre-trip and on-the-ground training, as well as hands-on cross-cultural ministry, the Louderbacks prepare people to take healthy next steps in missions. They led a team of LifeWay missionaries this summer in Panama and are returning to the GIC to serve as speakers for the Kick-Off Celebration and Commitment Service.
