Due to the government’s desire to limit social gatherings and interactions, we will be rescheduling all events surrounding Multiply! Buliisa. We fully intend to support World Vision’s work in Buliisa, Uganda, and we will keep you updated on how we will reengage and reschedule these events. For now, please let us know if you have any questions that are not addressed below.
FAQs
What do I do with the money I was gifted to multiply last Sunday?
Go ahead and keep it! You now have more time to get creative and think of ways to partner with God in multiplying the resources he has gifted you. If you have already collected money, you can set it aside or give it to the church to process. We will forward any money collected to World Vision and keep track of totals.
What if I already registered and paid for an event or cookies from the bake sale?
If you have registered and paid for an event or cookies, that order will carry over to the rescheduled event. If you would like your money back, simply let the office know within the next 10 days, and we will issue a refund.
What if I have a fundraiser already in progress?
You can continue to collect money for World Vision for as long as you had planned. LifeWay is able to collect and process any funds that you have collected or that you collect in the time between now and our re-launch.
Can I still sponsor a child?
Yes! Rachel Teodoro has sponsorship packets for children in Buliisa available now. Many of these packets expire in April, so now is the time to connect with her!
When will we reschedule?
Due to the ever-changing nature of this crisis, we are unable to say with certainty. However, we are predicting a May or June re-launch. Because the nature of these events are social and fundraisers, we will wait until it is acceptable to gather people in groups again.
Can I still give money directly to World Vision’s work in Buliisa, Uganda?
Yes! Here is a link that allows you or others to give directly to the Buliisa area development project.
