For the last several months, every Sunday morning we have offered one worship service that is accessible through three “doors”:
- Door 1: In person at the LifeWay campus
- Door 2: In a small home group, sharing the online service together
- Door 3: Online in your own home, followed by online discussion
Door 1 has most recently been opened to outdoor services only, but that is changing. Beginning Sunday morning, October 11, we are officially opening Door 1 to in-person, indoor attendance at LifeWay.
Expectations
As we return to meeting in the LifeWay building, here are the simple things we ask for everyone’s comfort and safety:
- Please continue to register prior to the service. Service attendance in the building will be limited to 50 people (not counting staff, scheduled teachers and workers, or worship team) until further notice.
- Please check in at the entrance. If a COVID-19 issue ever arises, we will notify all in attendance on the relevant dates.
- Please wear a mask in the building at all times, whether you are moving around or sitting down.
- Please sit with the party you arrive with. The ushers will help you with the size of your group.
- We will have hand sanitizer around the facility and in the entry area.
We hope to see you—1 of 3 ways
LifeWay Church has never closed—even if, for the last few months, we have had minimal activity in our building. As long as it is practical, we will continue to keep Door 1 open.
But—I will stress again—consider Door 2 (home groups) as a great opportunity to worship and study God’s Word together with others. And if you are still not comfortable gathering with even the smallest of groups, Door 3 (live-streamed services from home) will continue to be available.
Please remember that on any given Sunday, we will always have three open doors through which you can “come to church,” and the on-campus service makes up only one of those three doors. Whichever way you choose to enter, we look forward to worshiping with you!
See you Sunday,
