LifeWay Church is a Christian church in Federal Way, Washington, committed to pursuing God’s direction, allowing for differences, and always practicing love and respect. The church was formed in 2003 when two individual churches (Palisades Church, pastored by Billy Arnold, and Calvary Community Church, pastored by Don Turner) came together knowing they could do more for the cause of Jesus Christ together than they could separately.
The people of LifeWay Church are action oriented, working both within the community of Federal Way and Puget Sound as well as throughout the world in places like Russia, Tanzania, Uganda, and Southeast Asia. LifeWay Church partners with World Vision in helping their mission throughout the world in working in communities to help the children and families become better educated and healthy by supporting their 30 Hour Famine fundraisers and child sponsorships.
We believe we are put on this earth to love others as Jesus has loved us sacrificially, and LifeWay Church is working to live this out through service in the communities we are called to be in. Read more about our mission work and what we do in these communities throughout the world in our Mission pages.
Our newsletter is a way to get timely information about what is happening in the life of the church. The best way, however, is to come on Sunday and experience it personally.
We expect that you will find real people, real faith, and real kindness at LifeWay Church. We are not a perfect church, and we do not try to offer every possible ministry or the slickest presentation. What we do try to do is provide a safe place for all people to come, be accepted, meet God, and make a difference.
