Bring your family or a friend and come join LifeWay for a day of fun in the sun at the Twanoh Falls Beach Club at Hood Canal. There is a beach (with oysters—bring a bucket!), a swimming area, kayaks, volleyball court, basketball court, playground, grills, a fire pit—plenty of fun for a full day at the beach.
BYO lawn chairs, beach games, sunblock and swim gear/aqua socks, plus food and drinks for as long as you plan to stay.
It only takes about an hour to get there, so plan to come for the day or just the afternoon. Show up any time after 10:30 a.m. ready to play!
Please note: Because this is a private beach, no pets are allowed!
Directions
Getting to Twanoh Falls Beach Club by GPS is tricky. Keep these directions handy as you navigate:
- Take I-5 south toward Tacoma
- Merge onto WA-16 West via exit 132 toward Gig Harbor/Bremerton/Sprague Ave.
- Follow WA-16 for 26.5 miles. (Reminder: on the return trip over the Narrows Bridge there is a toll of $6.00)
- After 26.5 miles, take the exit on the left toward WA-3 South/Belfair/Shelton.
- At the end of the ramp, turn left onto WA-3. Follow WA-3 for 9 miles.
- After 9 miles, turn right onto W WA-106/WA-106 toward Union.
- Follow WA-106 for 6.5 miles.
- After 6.5 miles you will see a sign for the Twanoh Falls Beach Club on your right (E. Creekside Dr. is on the left).
- Turn right into the Twanoh Falls Beach Club parking lot.
